I prefer the pictures my mind comes up with rather than what I'm provided with, but that's just me. Also a big reader; I read three books in the past week - not a huge amount, but considering I'm on holiday and doing a lot of touristy stuff as well, I'm pretty surprised. :) I never really got the whole comic/graphic novel thing – or I haven’t yet. In fact, I drew a big picture of Kitty Pride (who was going by "Sprite" back then) as the "sign in" poster for my Bat Mitzvah. I stopped reading X-Men right around the whole Jean Grey was never Phoenix thing. That was too much for my fragile little mind. Haven't really read much manga. Willing to try. You will weep; a friend had a <i>signed</i> copy of Sandman, that she stood in line for two hours to get signed. Until a flood destroyed it. I used to be a big Marvel X-anything reader. Then the mutant angst in the 80's just got to be too much. Now I collect manga. They're more expensive but they don't come out as often. I consider myself a biblioholic. I have a book a day habit.
